Co-Founders, Travis & Kristen Schwarz, grew up with a respect for horses that was instilled in them early on in life. Free time for the couple always involved horses and they knew when they started their family, they wanted their children to be raised in this lifestyle. Travis and Kristen were blessed with three sons, Tristen, Riggin, and Cortland as well as one daughter, Harleigh Layne who have been raised with this same respect and love for horses.

Kristen, a registered nurse by education, decided in the winter of 2013 to pursure PATH International's certification as a therapeutic riding instructor. She spent that summer completing her requirements and being mentored by an amazing program in their area. September of 2013, Kristen passed her certification and decided to take the next step with the support of Travis, towards starting a program in her hometown of Fisher, MN.  Walk By Faith Therapeutic Riding Inc. was founded in April of 2014 and received 501(c)(3) approval in April of 2015. We look forward to serving our local communities and playing a role in the lives of many children, veterans and active service personnel.
